''Caregiving families'' Symposium
A symposium on “Caregiving families” will be held on June 11th at the Agbar Tower Auditorium. The symposium has been organized by the Caregiving Families Support Net, under the auspices of the Citizen Agreement for an Inclusive Barcelona. The Jubert Figueras Foundation is a member of this net.
The symposium is intended to be a space for insight and sensibilization about a reality that affects some 10 percent of the population in Barcelona. Its main objectives are:
> To present a report on “The health of those living with people with special necessities who require full-time attention and assistance”.
>To make visible the task developed by non-professional caregivers in Barcelona and promote public acknowledgment.
> To gather reflections, orientations and proposals on how to address caregiving families support.
