Sant Jordi
On Monday 23 April we were one of the organizations invited to participate in social initiative stops rose in the Palau de la Generalitat.
We share the Day with seven other institutions:
- l'Associació Cedre per a la Promoció Social
- L'Associació Coordinadora de persones amb discapacitat de l'H.
- AVAN, l'Associació Vallès Amics de la Neurologia.
- la Federació Catalana de Drogodependències.
- la Fundació Servei Gironí de Pedagogia Social
- Fundació Privada Dau
- l'Esplai Sant Llorenç.
The Government has made available to each of the entities with a stop 300 roses. There were red, pink and white, very beautiful.
After the traditional blessing of roses by the Archbishop of Barcelona, we could greet the President, Mr.. Artur Mas and his wife. Later we were invited to participate in the breakfast offered to authorities, during which we could talk to the Minister of Welfare, the Hon. Mr. Cleries.
Throughout the day, the volunteers of the Foundation were offering roses to the large audience who visited Palau. The price of the rose was a voluntary donation to the organization entirely devoted to develop our projects and activities.
